To create "the cleanest city in China", the city of Hangzhou has built three waste classification and reduction complexes since 2020 as the key infrastructure supporting project for Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, which aims to “slimming down, dewatering and deodorizing" the city's domestic waste, further adapting to the transformation of waste disposal, and enlarging Hangzhou's capacity of domestic waste disposal.

　　Tianziling Waste Classification and Reduction Complex is located in the gully area in the southwest of Tianziling Circular Economy Industrial Park, which contains compressing, dewatering, and processing equipment for municipal solid waste disposal of 2,000 tons/day; dewatering and transfer equipment for food waste disposal of 200 tons/day; bulky waste processing equipment for bulky waste disposal of 200 tons/day, as well as three projects of supporting sewage and biogas collection facilities, and ancillary buildings. The land covers an area of some 49.84 mu with a total investment of 363 million RMB.

　　The Chengdong Waste Classification and Reduction Complex is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of North Wenjin Road, Yinhai Street, Qiantang. It contains waste compression, dewatering, and transfer equipment for waste disposal of 2,000 tons/day, and 500 tons/day sewage treatment facilities, as well as ancillary buildings. The land covers an area of 53.24 mu with a total investment of 559 million RMB.

　　Xiaoshan Green Recycling Complex is located in Hongken Farm of the Development Zone, which boasts of its large waste transfer of 2,000 tons/day and leachate disposal of 500 m³/day. The land covers an area of 45.18 mu with a total investment of 450 million RMB.

　　All three projects have used our super-large horizontal pre-pressure waste compressor + container semitrailer + tractor-truck transferring, and the transfer station as a whole has achieved fully automatic mechanized processing, which includes five major systems of data collection of the waste-collecting vehicle, automatic compression, in-station monitoring, deodorization spraying control, and vehicle GPS remote monitoring. The smooth operation of the projects is the "key bridge" connecting the cleaning transferring at the beginning and waste incineration at the end and is a strong guarantee for zero landfilling of municipal solid waste in Tianziling, Hangzhou.
